Teknikum brings partners together at ice hockey tournament in Sastamala

Last Friday, Teknikum hosted an ice hockey tournament in Sastamala, bringing together customers, partners, and colleagues for a day of sport and networking.

The company event featured teams from Metso and Fellowmind, alongside Teknikum’s own team. In the spirit of collaboration, Teknikum was also strengthened by guest players from Finnprofiles, highlighting the partnership between the companies.

The event was officially opened by a representative of the City of Sastamala, who performed the ceremonial puck drop.

Throughout the tournament, the atmosphere was relaxed and positive. While the games were competitive, the focus remained on having fun, connecting with others, and enjoying time together outside the usual work environment.

At the end of the tournament, the winning team was awarded a traveling trophy, which will continue as part of the event tradition in the future.

“Events like this are a great way to strengthen cooperation and meet partners outside day-to-day work. It was good to see strong team spirit from all participants,” says Matti Hulmi, IT Manager at Teknikum and the organizer of the event.
