Teknikum® Rubber Compounds for Hoses Cover

Teknikum WearBlack™ NR recycled

This black compound includes 60% renewable natural rubber materials of which 15% is recycled. The compound is highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials. This compound is designed for Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.

Teknikum® Rubber Compounds for Hoses Inner Lining

Teknikum WearGrey™ NR

This grey compound includes 40% renewable natural rubber material. The compound is highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials. Compared to our light NR compound, Teknikum WearGrey™ NR is more tear resist-ant and long-lasting in applications including transferring sharp materials. This compound is not antistatic.This inner lining compound is designed for Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON series.

Teknikum WearLight NR™ renewable

This brown/multicolor compound includes 80% renewable natural rubber material. The compound is highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials. This compound is not antistatic.This inner lining compound is designed for Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.

Teknikum WearBlack™ SBR antistatic

This black compound includes 10% renewable natural rub-ber materials. The compound is antistatic, highly durable and suitable for abrasive materials.This inner lining compound is designed for Antistatic versions of Teknikum GRANIT®, TITAN and CARBON hose series.

Teknikum® Smart solutions for Hoses Inner Lining

Teknikum CERAMIC™

Robust, but flexible CERAMIC inner lining provides up to 3-10 times the life of a rubber hose or metal tube, depending on the material being transferred. Great for slurry and very abrasive substances. Excellent resistance to abrasion and weather!

Teknikum Smart Hose™ system

Teknikum Smart Hose system enables monitoring of wear and tear of inner lining of a hose. The Smart Hose system includes Teknikum ALER-TEK™ 2.0 monitoring device and a customer specific Teknikum GRANIT® or TITAN™ hose built with monitoring cable.

The system gives a signal when the hose needs to be changed to avoid breakage. Measurement takes place automatically every 60 minutes and a test measurement can be carried out at any time by pressing the Test button. Optionally available wirh single or multilayer (1-3) measurement with several cables built into the hose structure.

The benefits of Smart Hose system include:

Increased work and environmental safety and risk management, when hose’s life cycle can be anticipated
Uninterrupted process flow as uncontrolled process stops can be avoided
Maintenance savings and easier management when new hose can be purchased just in time or as planned
