Applications

Teknikum Select™ flange couplings can be equipped with three alternative gaskets:

 

  1. Polypropylene gasket is light color plastic gasket which is highly resistant to most of chemicals. It is recommended to applications in which connections need to be highly resistant to pressure.
  2. Metal reinforced rubber gasket is well suitable e.g. to mining industry applications in which the connection is required to be pressure resistant but flexible as well.
  3. Plain rubber gaskets or seals are intended primarily to applications in which pressures are low but flow rate possibly high. Plain rubber gasket material is EPDM and the drillings are in accordance with DIN 2642 / EN 1092-1 / SFS 2170 PN10.
