Teknikum Finnish Cup 2019-2021 – Teknikum is the main partner of the Finnish Cup volleyball tournament for the next three years
Teknikum Group is a long-time partner of the Finnish VaLePa volleyball club and a large employer in the technology industry in Pirkanmaa. The international group will lend its support to the volleyball tournament Finnish Cup and encourage young and working age people to be active. For the next three years, VaLePa Sastamala Tampere will organise the final tournament of the Teknikum Finnish Cup together with the Finnish Volleyball Association.

Established in 1989, Teknikum Group is one the most significant experts in polymer technology in Europe and a large employer in the technology industry in Pirkanmaa. During the last 30 years, Teknikum has supported a large number of organisations, such as sports clubs and organisations promoting children’s sports and culture. Corporate social responsibility and supporting local non-profit organisations is important to the group that started as a family business.
The cooperation with VaLePa in volleyball started in the early 1990s. In 1995, the Teknikum player statistics system was introduced. All kinds on partnerships have been formed throughout the years. In the 2000s, the VaLePa legend Eduard Venski became a Teknikum employee. Today, he is the chairman of the Belarus Volleyball Federation.
Teknikum’s values are responsibility, appreciation, renewal and satisfied customers. The international group will lend its support to the Finnish Cup volleyball tournament and encourage young and working age people to be active. This is why it is only natural for Teknikum, as the name partner of Teknikum Finnish Cup, to support the promotion of Finnish volleyball. The finals of Teknikum Finnish Cup are battles between the best teams and best players in Finland. The event serves as an inspiration to all young volleyball fans in Finland. Good team spirit is essential for success both in sports and in working life.
Teknikum is the main partner of the Finnish Cup volleyball tournament for the next three years 2019–2021. The finals will be held in Tampere. Tampere is a constantly evolving city that has been involved in the organisation of several large sporting events over the last years. During the next three years, Teknikum, the Finnish Volleyball Association and VaLePa will work together to develop Teknikum Finnish Cup as an event. The goal is to establish a strong framework for a high-quality event!
This year, Teknikum Finnish Cup finals will be organised at the Kauppi Sports Center on 18 and 19 January 2020. On Saturday 18 January at 7 pm, the women’s teams of LP Viesti and LiigaPloki will fight for the trophy. On Sunday at 6:15 pm, the men’s teams of VaLePa Sastamala Tampere and Savo Volley will take the stage. Both days also feature junior matches at Kauppi. On Saturday, two girls B level pool format games will be played and on Sunday, visitors can experience a super tournament for the 34 F juniors. Both tournaments can also be viewed online.
